The Piano Lifesaver System Pads last longer if you use Distilled Water or Filtered Water or Rain Water to fill up the System when it asks for it.  These waters do not contain the same impurities as the normal scheme water, so the pads will not cake up as much and will generally last 12 months.

Gary carries replacement pads and bottles of the Pad Treatment with him when he is out and about Piano Tuning.
